Visa to Venezuela

Slightly north of the equator, Venezuela is dominated by a sub-equatorial climate, which results in the same temperature all year round. The average annual temperature is +21 +26 C. Significant temperature changes are observed only in the mountainous regions of the Andes, where in winter the temperature can drop to +4 +9 C, and in summer +23 C. The amount of precipitation depends on the height above sea level. For example, in the west of the country, annual precipitation may not exceed 280 mm, and in mountainous areas, 3000 mm of precipitation may fall per year. There are two seasons that differ from each other only in the amount of precipitation: the dry season (December-April) and the wet season, which falls on the rest of the year. Naturally, it is best to go to Venezuela during the dry season, but Angel Falls is most picturesque during the rainy season, when the river becomes fuller.

The urban public transport system consists of buses and fixed-route taxis. Fixed-route taxis run without a fixed schedule and leave as the seats fill up. The capital also has a subway. Licensed taxis are usually metered, but drivers often try to negotiate a price without using a meter. There are frequent cases when tourists are frankly deceived and, turning on the meter, go along the longest path.

Tourists are not advised to use buses and unofficial taxis, the safest mode of transport in Caracas is the metro.
